Mary C. Edson is a leadership coach and scholar/practitioner interested in advancing inquiry at the intersection of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Project Management and the Systems Sciences. With over 15 years of experience in financial services, health care, hospitality, human resource management, and information technology, Mary was a technical project manager who led large projects through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation at Marriott International, Texas Instruments, R.R. Donnelley Financial, and CIGNA Healthcare. She is a seasoned instructor, published author, and peer reviewer with an established record of presentations and published papers in refereed journals.

She is particularly interested in organizational resilience and project team leadership. Mary is President of Equipoise Enterprises, Inc., a coaching and consulting firm focused on building leadership competencies and adaptive capacity in individuals, groups, teams, and organizations. Mary leads a Systems Research Team and serves as Vice President of the International Federation for Systems Research (IFSR). She is an active member of the International Society for the Systems Sciences (ISSS), as well member of APA, SHRM, and SIOP.
