Cultivating the Teaching Heart: Preparing for Culturally Sensitive Community Service after COVID-19
April 24 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm$55
The pandemic has prevented travel by many educators and lay volunteers who would otherwise have engaged in humanitarian service in the U.S. and abroad. As vaccinations and other developments improve the outlook for domestic and international travel, this is an ideal time to prepare emotionally, intellectually and spiritually for community service. In this interactive online workshop, Dr. Diane Richard-Allerdyce draws on her many years of experience leading teacher training sessions in Haiti and the U.S. to share tips for cultivating cultural sensitivity.
