Careers in Criminal Justice Management (CJM) cover a wide range of specialty areas. Our flexible, online degree program is designed to prepare you to move up the ranks into supervisory, management, and executive positions within the criminal justice system.
Most CJM classes are taught by current or retired law enforcement officers with more than 20 years of experience in the field. Classes are 100% online – learn anywhere, anytime. Our programs are built for your busy life, you can attend part or full-time.
With Union's 8-week format and six start dates each year, you can complete your online criminal justice management degree in less time than you would by attending classes on a traditional campus. Union never requires test scores and it’s free to apply. So get started today, you'll be graduating before you know it!
What can I do with a CJM degree?
Union’s Criminal Justice Management program connects with Union’s national community of law enforcement personnel across the country. Union Institute & University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). When selecting a college or university and before committing any money, it is important to determine whether or not the institution is “accredited.” This is even more important when considering a non-traditional form of instruction, such as distance learning.
Accreditation is important because it creates a set of quality standards for all educational institutions. It also provides access to federal and state funding, maintains private sector confidence, and makes transferring credits easier. Aiming to ensure the accountability of schools and degree programs, accreditation boosts public trust and confidence. When an institution or degree program is properly accredited, you are able to gauge its overall quality without having to conduct a detailed analysis on your own.
