The award of credits will be applied once Union Institute & University (UI&U) has received official verification of successful completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Basic Training Academy and one year of probationary work experience under supervision. UI&U will award no more than 30 credits to each student who successfully completes the Immigration and Detention Deportation (ICE D) training program at FLETC.
Prospective students who now hold or have held the following positions would be eligible for credit award based on training: Assistance Field Office Director, Deportation Officer (DO), Deputy Field Office Director, Field Office Director, Immigration Enforcement Agent (IEA), Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer (SDDO), or Supervisory Immigration Enforcement Agent (SIEA).
Other certificates and documented training will be evaluated on an individual bases and awarded appropriate credits based on the results of the evaluation. Union Institute & University accepts credits in transfer from regionally accredited colleges and universities and reserves the right to apply, or not to apply, acceptable transfer credit toward degree requirements.
