Human Trafficking The Terrible Truth

Union Institute & University, in conjunction with the Institute for Social Justice, is hosting a free lunch n' learn in recognition of Women’s History month. Join our esteemed panelists from *12pm-1pm on Friday, March 31, for a frank and informative conversation on human trafficking.

Human trafficking is modern-day slavery that forces vulnerable populations, including children, into exploitation in commercial sex and/or forced labor. The issue of human trafficking is much closer to home than many people may realize. Ohio currently ranks fourth in the U.S. for the number of reported human trafficking cases!

Angenita Brown, Chief of Staff for Union Institute & University, will moderate the discussion.

Boxed lunch will be available if RSVP is received by 5pm-Friday, March 24.
Late RSVP is welcome, however, lunch may not be available.

*Doors open for lunch at 11:35 am.
