The award of 32 lower level credits will be granted to Ohio State Patrol Troopers once Union Institute & University (UI&U) receives a copy of their Basic Training Certificate and one of the following forms of documentation: OSHP Commission Certificate or verification letter from their supervisor on official letterhead stating the employee has completed one year of employment as a state trooper. These credits will be approved as lower level credits within the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Management major.
Other certificates and documented training will be evaluated on an individual bases and awarded appropriate credits based on the results of the evaluation. Union Institute & University accepts credits in transfer from regionally accredited colleges and universities and reserves the right to apply, or not to apply, acceptable transfer credit toward degree requirements.
