HEERF Student Portion Reports
Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) provides financial support to colleges and universities, as well as directly to students. HEERF consists of three grants - the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES), The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA), and the American Rescue Plan (ARP).
The intent of these grants is to help students pay for college expenses during the financial downturn created by the pandemic. Examples of eligible "cost of attendance" expenses: food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child care. With the student's approval, CRRSAA grants can pay tuition and fees.
