Tammy Gilligan Ph.D.
Dr. Tammy Gilligan is a Professor of School Psychology and program director at a university where she has taught courses in consultation and intervention for over 25 years. She is licensed as a clinical psychologist. Dr. Gilligan has been teaching and training about well-being for over 20 years. She specializes in mindfulness and training the trainer. Growing up in rural South Carolina, Dr. Gilligan embraces the strengths and assets of all communities and is an advocate for supporting youth in our school through socially just educational practices. Dr. Gilligan graduated from Clemson University with a BA in Psychology and received her Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. She has been a school-based practitioner in Nebraska, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Dr. Gilligan resides in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and nourishes her mind, heart, and spirit through nature-based activities.
