Jill Getto Lee is an early childhood professional who has studied trauma prevention in infant development and is a trainer for childcare professionals and parents. Her passion is advocating for children’s physical and mental health rights. She is an Affiliate Professor at Union Institute and University and holds a Master’s Degree from Pacific Oaks College in Human Development, Specializing in Early Childhood Development. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University. Jill is a certified RIE® Mentor teacher and currently teaches all RIE® course offerings at the Los Angeles and Pasadena RIE Centers. She also serves as Chair of the RIE Board of Directors and has her own private practice at BINI Birth in Sherman Oaks. Jill is a member of psychologist Allan Schore’s interpersonal Right Brain Psychotherapy Study Group and is a participant in Dr. Terry Marks-Tarlow’s study group on Clinical Intuition. She is a registered consultant for the Los Angeles County Office of Childcare and is a community member of the Los Angeles Unified School District’s IPM team.
