Five Union Professors Earn SOCHE Excellence Awards

The teaching excellence of five Union Institute & University professors was recognized with the “Faculty Excellence Award” by the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) at its annual awards luncheon on October 30, 2015.

Congratulations to Union Institute & University professors Bari S. Kraus, Thomas Nimmo, Dr. Frederick K. Read, Dr. Jennifer L. Scott, and Dr. Carol Stokes-Brewer on this well-deserved honor representing the academic areas of counseling, social work, business, and leadership.

The Union professors joined 70 faculty recipients from 10 Cincinnati area colleges and universities for their outstanding contributions in teaching, service, and scholarship.

SOCHE is a consortium dedicated to advancing higher education in the region through active collaboration, resource and knowledge building, and effective professional development programs.
