Nadine C. Wheat Ph.D.

Dr. Wheat is a leadership and team-building professional with over 25 years of experience. Areas of expertise include Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Change Management, Project Management, Virtual Team Management and Customer Service. She has the ability to problem-solve issues with unique out-of-the-box solutions using superb analytical, implementation, and communications skills.

Dr. Wheat is highly motivated to embrace a leadership vision and motivate leaders and teams to achieve excellent results across a wide variety of organizations. As an organizational development consultant to leaders and managers in executive positions, she provides strategies for sustainable business performance. With a teaching style geared toward creating authentic leaders, Dr. Wheat helps students develop the skills to address organizational and individual needs, improve team dynamics and enhance productivity. She also emphasizes the need to promote an intentional focus on diversity, inclusion and equity among top leaders and employees within their respective organizations.

As an I/O psychologist, Dr. Wheat has provided executive leadership to several organizations, using psychological principles and research methods to solve problems in the workplace and improve the quality of life. This includes, but is not limited to matters associated with recruitment, executive coaching, selection and placement, organizational leadership training and development, management efficiency, diversity, equity and inclusion training, leadership styles and employee working styles.

Dr. Wheat is currently an affiliate faculty member of the Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership and the Ed.D departments of Union Institute and University. She was the Department Chair of a Graduate Business department of a University, where she helped countless students continue their studies and finish their dissertations. She has been a dissertation chair for over 50 students and a committee member as a subject matter expert for qualitative dissertations.

Dr. Wheat works closely with women in leadership and organizations focusing on program designs, working in systemic organizations helping them navigate through organizations. She co-authored a book called “She Crabs in a Barrel”, which deals with women in business.

Dr. Wheat has an MBA in Management and Accounting, and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She is currently working on her Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
