Union appoints Ashley Finkes as Director of Marketing
Union Institute & University is pleased to announce that Ashley Finkes has been appointed Director of Marketing, effective January 4, 2016.
The Director of Marketing plays an integral role in overseeing all aspects of the marketing strategy across the university including the planning, implementation, and evaluation of effective student-centered, strategic recruitment.
A shared dedication to educate adults led Finkes to join Union. “Union Institute & University has the values, and growth strategy that align well with my personal values and stance on continuing education. The uniqueness of the academic programs offered, and the focus on social responsibility intrigued me to become a part of the team,” said Finkes about her new position.
Finkes brings 10 years of experience in marketing to her new position. “Ashley comes to us with marketing, public relations, branding, and event management skills. We look forward to Ashley’s leadership as she works to develop and implement the marketing strategy for our university and regional market areas,” said Kimbrea Browning, Vice President of Enrollment.
Previously Finkes held the position of Event Marketing Director at F+W Media. She holds a Master of Tourism Administration degree in Events & Sustainable Tourism from George Washington University, an Event Planning Certificate from Clayton State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Kent State University.
