Anniversary Auction

Hosted by the International Alumni Association Board (IAAB)
in honor of Union Institute & University’s 50th anniversary

October 18, 2014
Cincinnati Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel
35 W 5th St, Cincinnati, OH 45202

This silent auction will take place at the Cincinnati Hilton Netherland Plaza in Salon G&F on October 18, 2014, 8:30am-2:00pm in conjunction with the National Commencement ceremony and reception. Anyone can participate, so feel free to invite friends and family. The auction will feature a wonderful collection of items including vacation getaway packages, wine, jewelry, museum memberships, department store gift cards, meals at top Cincinnati restaurants, and sweet treats from Graeter’s and the Bon Bonerie.

The anniversary auction, organized by IAAB volunteers, provides support for the IAAB Endowed Scholarship Fund. The auction funds will also provide cash grants to help graduates attend National Commencement. Funds from the IAAB Endowed Scholarship Fund have doubled since 2010, and approximately $10,000 will be awarded to deserving students this year to assist them with their educational goals. You can be part of that great endeavor by donating an item or bidding in the auction.

The auction is an easy, convenient, and rewarding way to give back to the university and to support future alumni. You can participate by donating items, acquiring donations, or bidding on items. Suggested items for donation include art, jewelry, collectibles, vacation rentals, rare coins, Union academic regalia, and gift certificates/cards to national restaurants and stores. Even if you cannot attend, your donation will assist our future students and will be greatly appreciated. As a donor, your name and donation will be listed in our event program.

If you would like to donate an auction item, please send us your item by Sunday, October 5, 2014 along with your signed form available here. For details please contact Neal Meier at 802-279-1373 or alumni@myunion.edu.

We look forward to seeing you in October.
